How We Work

To carry out its obligations, HCCPT has previously resourced funding in 2 ways:

1. Restricted Fund

External Link: The Waste Recycling Environmental Limited (WREN) Web Site HCCPT acted as a channel through which Landfill Tax Credits were distributed via WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd). This valued relationship started way back to 2001and over £1,000,000 of grants have been made to over 170 churches. However this scheme is currently in abeyance - see STOP PRESS on the HOME page.

2. Unrestricted Fund

To accommodate churches that are unable to meet the above criteria, HCCPT raises money from other sources:

To date close on £250,000 has been raised enabling over 100 churches and chapels to benefit.

GRANT APPLICATIONS

NB. Grant applications are considered by the Trust at their quarterly meetings held in March, June, September and December each year. On that basis, it is important that applicants submit their applications by the last date of the preceding month, in order that they can be circulated to the Grants Committee in advance for their consideration.

Grant Application forms can be found on the ‘Downloads’ page.
